Thank you for agreeing to participate in this survey. This survey is being used to collect information about graphic design history courses. The survey results will be included in my MFA thesis on the pedagogies of graphic design history. While our ideals are important, for this survey I am interested in what is truly being covered in design history courses. First go at typeface design . . .Designed for SCAD Typeface Design class. Excellent experiment – much more to learn especially on the finer engineered details of FontLab and typeface development. Had fun trying to create a unique typeface that was reminiscent of the past, specifically vintage labels. The word friss is Hungarian for fresh. Will eventually give this another go – would like the typeface to be a bit more organic, it is also incomplete however it is a ‘real’ typeface that one could download and use like any...
